    Thank you for taking the time to visit the website today. We recognize how busy you are and we are grateful that you are interested in discovering more about Mt. Yonah Baptist Church.
     Mt. Yonah Baptist Church is a group of Christ followers who seek to worship and serve God in the midst of a rapidly changing world. Our purpose, promise and passion is to, "love God, love each other and love all others." This is more than a motto, it becomes a lifestyle.
     We are committed to teach, preach and live out what the Bible teaches in a way that never compromises truth, but communicates truth to a 21 centurty world in word and deeds. We recognize the many demands placed on each member of the family in today's culture and we seek to equip believers and minister in light of the complexities of our day.
     We minister through our church to those in the White County community, our state, our nation and around the world in obedience to our Lord's commission found as in Matthew 28:19-20. We have developed an Acts 1:8 strategy that works with our partners to reach people around the world with the love of God.
