Ross Roberts
Pastor
Ross became the Pastor of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church in 2021 after serving as the Student Director and Interim Pastor. He was raised in a Christian home and surrendered his life to Christ while in college. Shortly after, he answered the call to preach God’s Word. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business, and Master’s degree in Theology from Truett McConnell University. He is happily married to Mendy and they have four children: Deacon, Melany, Maebry, and Malory.
Prior to joining the staff at Mt. Yonah, Ross served in various ministry roles in the Northeast Georgia area. As a Pastor, his desire is to help the church grow & mature in their Christ-likeness, and see the next generation reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He enjoys spending time with family, playing sports, reading, exercising, and hunting. Ross also serves as the assistant baseball coach at Truett McConnell University. (2016-Present)

Sharon Malcom
Administrative Assistant
Sharon joined our staff in 2007. She and her husband Ed & their son Jeremy live in Clarkesville, GA. Sharon & Ed are members of Chattahoochee Baptist Church in Cleveland, GA. Sharon takes care of our office, church publications, correspondence, financial records and many other tasks to assist our church to be effective and efficient in the way we operate.
