Ministries

Sunday Morning

Our church gathers for worship on Sundays at 10:45 am. We are focused on keeping our families together for worship and not separating the family with multiple programs.  We believe the best way for children to learn how to worship is by observing the example of their parents/guardians. Children are welcomed and encouraged to worship with their family in our services.  Our services include a time for a children's message from the pastor, and we do offer an outlet for small children to be cared for during the service if need be.

Our main small group ministry is Sunday School.  Sunday School meets at 9:30 on Sunday mornings with groups for all ages.  We use literature that is Biblically based and practically focused.

Senior Adults

Mt. Yonah is located in an area that many adults choose as a retirement location, for this reason many of our activities are focused to the senior audience.  Bible Study, fellowships, concerts, trips and projects both minister to seniors and give senior adults an opportunity to use their gifts and wisdom in service.

Women

Women On Mission meet in the Conference Room of the Heritage Building. The dates vary so contact the office to confirm. 7068655044.

Community Service and Missions

We are involved in numerous ways to serve our community and carry out the Great Commission.  We seek to be an Acts 1:8 church that ministers in  Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Uttermost parts of the world. We often partner with other groups to have the greatest impact. Our church campus is used by numerous groups for events of all kinds.
