Our church gathers for worship together on Sundays at 10:45 am. God has blessed our church with strong, like-minded families who are seeking to raise their children God’s way. We are focused on keeping our families together for worship and not separating the family with multiple programs. We believe the best way for children to lean how to worship is to watch their parents. Children are welcomed and encouraged to worship with their family in our services. Our services include a time for a children's message from the pastor, and we provide activity sheets for children that coincide with the sermon.
Our main small group ministry is Sunday School. Sunday School meets at 9:30 on Sunday mornings with groups for all ages. We use literature that is Biblical based and life focused. Connecting with special and similar life journeys as you study the Bible, God's Word.

During the school year, children meet on Wednesday at 6:30 PM for Awana. This program reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him. Kids represent the greatest opportunity to make a long-term impact on our world for Christ. Awana reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey. Those kids who come to faith at an early age discover God’s purpose for their lives and hope for the future. Ministry leaders and parents witness the profound impact Awana has in reaching kids with the gospel and watching them grow as long-term disciples.
Our Youth Ministry is ROOTED. The main event each week is a Wednesday night setting that provides relevant application of biblical principle for youth. Medical Release Form
Mt. Yonah is located in an area that many adults choose as a retirement location, for this reason many of our activities are focused to the senior audience. Bible Study, fellowships, concerts, trips and projects both minister to seniors and give senior adults an opportunity to use their gifts and wisdom in service. The second Thursday of the month the Golden Hearts meet at 1PM in the Fellowship Hall for a meal and entertainment.
Women On Mission meet the first Monday of each month in various homes at 10:00 AM. They study missions, pray for missionaries around the world and plan/conduct mission projects from our community. An evening group meets the third Monday of each month in the Conference room of the Heritage Building at 6:00pm.
Community Service and Missions
We are involved in numerous ways to serve our community and carry out the Great Commission. We seek to be an Acts 1:8 church that ministers in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Uttermost parts of the world. We often partner with other groups to have the greatest impact. Our church campus is used by numerous groups for events of all kinds.
The Friends of Mount Yonah Prayer Team meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM in Lorraine Smith's class room. Everyone is encouraged to join this prayer team.
