Part-Time Minister of Worship/Music
Mt. Yonah Baptist Church in Cleveland, GA is looking for a part-time/bi-vocational Minister of Worship/Music to model, serve, and lead the body of Christ in worship, discipleship, and outreach through the music ministries of the church. The ideal candidate will create an atmosphere of sincere and passionate worship, valuing both contemporary and traditional styles. Primary Responsibilities:

Plan and lead Sunday morning worship services, and act as the lead worshiper

Lead a choir and coordinate with the worship team

Attend weekly staff meetings

A willingness to assist with other duties not mentioned above as assigned by the pastor
Requirements:

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a dynamic walk with Him

Must be a passionate soul winner

A high school diploma (college degree preferred)

Musically proficient (strong voice and ability to play at least one instrument)

Competent to lead both contemporary and traditional approaches to worship

Committed to conduct ministry in accordance with the Baptist Faith and Message

Passionate about the vision and values of MYBC

Working knowledge of audio/visual technology for worship

Good organizational, leadership, and people skills

Basic ability to use computer software, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, and Easy Worship

The ability to listen effectively and communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
-
Exceptional speaking skills and the ability to speak confidently before groups
Estimated Salary:
$150/week
